A: No, you do not need to be baptised to be saved! You need to confess with your mouth, belive with you mind, and be true in your heart. Confess your sins, trust, and have faith in Christ. Then you are saved. The choice to be baptised is a commitment to follow Christ and to do his will. Being baptised is your afformation to this. It is a show of faith that you are willing to subject yourself to the will of Christ, and to the Father in heaven. Christ states that he too has to be baptised in the way by John the baptist, subjecting himslef to authority. We must also do the same. By being baptised we are also subjecting ourselves to authority. If you are not and do not get baptised it does not mean that you are not saved.
